Playing hooky from work

The new book by Rayna Gilman FINALLY got here and all I want to do is make fabric designs. I built a couple of silkscreens and a padded printing surface, and commenced to having a ball. If you are the least bit interested in surface design, you MUST have this book--"Creating Your Own Handprinted Fabric"
Needless to say everything else has gone by the wayside at this house, but who cares when beautiful fabric abounds.

This looks like loads of fun! I can understand why everything else would fall by the wayside. The pieces are terrific. I have the book... I just need to find some time.

Very nice! I love how you can look at the whole painted piece and break it down into individual smaller ones.

Ha - you're right - nothing else matters when you're printing - lol.
Love what you did with that last piece of fabric, cutting it up and making it into 3 related small pieces!
