It is hard sometimes to stay current with this blog. Work is consuming much of my free time (whatever that is) since I'm caring for Vincent a lot.
The dreadfulness of my hovel has gone beyond my tolerance so I'm trying to do something to make the bathroom look like modern people live here!! The new potty helped and I changed the yucky handle that came with it to a nicer one that matches the sink faucet handles. The walls are in BAD shape and need lots of work. Demolishing the entire space is out of the question right now. So I feel like I'm putting a band aid on a compound fracture, but it's better than doing nothing.
That bathroom is SO bad I won't even take a "before" photo, but I will take one when the work is done. Stay tuned!
Art quilt-wise, I must finish the piece for the Ultimate Guild Challenge. Hopefully that won't be a total bust---only 6 people have said they are committed to doing a quilt. There will be a posting on Feb.25 on this subject. I may be going down in flames as chairperson of the challenge committee at the guild.

Sounds like anything will be an improvement - look forward to the "after" pix. I know what you mean about finding time to blog. I used to have the energy to do it every night. No more. don't worry about it - whenever you can is good enough!
Go down in flames? Not hardly. ;)
Us fabric folks would be more likely to go down in scraps of cloth and shreds of thread!
But really, because fewer people are doing the challenge isn't a reflection on you, sometimes life just gets in the way... or like me, the inspiration muse declines a visit.
