Does anyone know???

Here's the flower growing in my yard that has not been identified. If any keen gardener should happen to know what this is please leave a comment so that I'll know too. You don't have to be that keen, either, just nice and willing to share a small bit of info. Or not even nice just willing to share. I guess that covers that!!
Yes I do know that the white flower is a jonquil. It is so pretty I had to include it in this post.

Hi Marilyn,
I think this is a wild 'yellow' woodland violet. They can grow profusely when conditions are right. We also have the really purple or violet ones in our field and pasture too.
Enjoy the delicate beauty....some folks think they are troublesome weeds...can you believe it ? :)

It may be a "cinque foil" or that may be one word "cinquefoil. Look it up and check it out if you can.
