We were able to hold out till June officially, so I turned on the ac today. I will feel guilty for a few days I'm sure, as ac is not exactly environmentally friendly. It sure is Marilyn friendly when the temps are soaring. The other thing I dislike about ac is feeling cut off from the neighborhood. It's good idea to know what's going on out there and makes me feel like a part of something bigger than my measly little life.

Aw shucks, Marilyn...Thanks for the garden compliment! I have had my AC on for months now...I can't work in the garden and then come into a HOT house, now can I? And sew?...upstairs?...in a HOT house? Are you kidding me? :) You are so much more environmentally friendly than I am!
