Hey, hey Paula, I used both hand and machine stitching for this quilt. I LOVE LOVE free motion stitching, now that I know how to do it. I can't wait til reveal day to show this. It's one of my better efforts and I liked putting it together. It just kinda appeared out of my head.
I totally understand that birthing from the head thing. Sometimes I am completely helpless to change the vision that crops up. I can't wait to see this new work of yours. I too love free motion. And I Imagine that since you do so much beautiful work that requires careful attention to detail that free motion will free you up to inner yearnings.
Lately my head has been full of imagery and the online challenge is useful in directing my thoughts away from the crap that seems to crowd my life more than it should. Having a theme to work with is very helpful.
