It is actually raining here! I don't know how long it has been since we had more than a few drops fall from the sky. And thunder and lightning too. And a six hour power failure, but just for our neighborhood--we are so special. The trees seem relieved and I'm sure all the plants will be happy tomorrow. Rain is also predicted for Tuesday.
The other downside--beside the power outage--was the River Arts Festival. We went this morning thinking we would beat the rain, but no such luck. But Vincent watched the speed painter and blacksmith do their thing, we got vendor food, and I got a new pair of earrings, so the day was not a total loss.
